W. O. D. Work Out of the Day is based on functional fitness and is a classification of training that prepares the body for real-life movements and activities. Movements such as squattin, pulling and lifting will be made easier with functional fitness integrated into your exercise routine.

Kettlebells offer a different kind of training using dynamic moves targeting almost every aspect of fitness, endurance, strength, balance, agility and cardio endurance. Using 4kg through to 24kg weights in this class. This class suits all levels and abilities.

Indoor cycling often also called spinning, as an organized sport, is a form of exercise with classes focusing on endurance, strength, intervals, high intensity and recovery, and involves using a special stationary exercise bicycle with a weighted flywheel in a classroom setting. This class suits all ages and abilities.

Circuit classes are high energy and fast-paced and involve moving your way around different exercise stations performing each exercise as many times as you can in a set amount of time. This class suits all ages and abilities.

Who are we and what are we about?

Evolution Fitness Gym is an all inclusive fitness facility based on Dyffryn Business Park in Ystrad Mynach. We provide a range of brand new fitness and weights equipment with over 90 stations and over 30 classes to choose from weekly, a cafe snack bar area providing freshly cooked meals and a range healthy meal prep. We have a great range of classes aimed at creating a friendly, inclusive environment for all members of our community. We are a one stop facility for all your physical and mental wellbeing needs.
